Who We Are:

Our names are Beverly and Jaclyn. We are a stepmom and stepdaughter duo and we are dedicated to celebrating motherhood in all shapes and forms that encompass it, So how did this happen? For us, the term "Smom" has been in our daily vocabulary since 2005, when we became a blended family! One day while we were talking, I asked Beverly what I should call her since I already had a mom, and she said, I don't know. Some divine intervention happened and we came up with SMOM! While Bev is the OG SMOM we feel that this is much bigger and really includes every Stepmom, Second Mom and Special Mom and we needed to share our way to create a term to be used worldwide honoring these special people who touch our lives everyday as a way to include and accept them and show appreciation for their unconditional love they give so freely! And, lets be honest, it takes a village to raise a child and SMOM's deserve a lot more credit!
